Pelta, Tempranillo, 2008

5/5 $9.99

While some people experience “a mix of steel and sour rich ripe fruit (cherry-berry) bound together by a slight bubblegum and forest taste” the good writers here at Amateur Winos don’t mess around. Pelta’s Tempranillo is amazing. This well priced wine is full of earth tones and cracked pepper qualities. It is incredibly consistent and you will know if it is your new favorite immediately after your first sip. Unfortunately, that’s all I got. It was too good for me to sit there and write notes.
