Hob Nob, Pinot Noir, 2010

3/5 $9.99

Talk about a walk on the wild side. Hob Nob Wine’s Pinot Noir (2010) starts light and fruity, but ends dry. Scratch that, it starts out sugary and ends dry – similar to a shock and awe effect. While contrasting, Hob Nob has perfect balance. However, I would recommend a lighter fare as a pairing – pasta or fish – this wine can compete with heavier meat. Overall, this robust pinot is great for the price point and those just starting to understand and respect wines in glass bottles.
