Willamette Valley Vineyards, Pinot Noir

4/5 $13.99

I drank this wine with five other people, and we all could not get enough of it! Think earthy, spicy, smoke, fruit. It’s one of those wines you could bring if you’re a guest to a party, and want to impress the group without spending too much. True story, the one who brought this wine had found it at Stew Leonard’s on sale, so you really can’t beat that deal. Definitely could pair well with anything … cheese, grilled fish or chicken, pizza, and thai food. As Pinots go this is a great choice for the amateur to the sophisticate.

Advertising professional by day and wine drinker by night, often overwhelmed by the sheer choices in wine stores, I have a tendency to not drink the same wine twice. My biggest tip to all Amateur winos, never swirl the glass in your hand, you just look pretentious. Swirl it on the table and you'll never worry again about that favorite sweater having a big red wine stain on it.
