Tiefenbrunner Winery, Pinot Grigio

5/5 $13.99

This wine was actually not purchased by myself, but was given to me as a gift over the holidays and I finally got a chance to try it. I had never heard of this Italian vineyard before, and was pleasantly surprised by the taste and aroma, and now feel like I need to try many more varietals from Tiefenbrunner. The taste was very nice, with a hint of floral and exotic fruit, a bit spicy, and definitely more full-bodied than your standard Pinot. Seems like this wine could go with most appetizers or fish dishes, and would be perfect to bring to a good friend or colleagues’ birthday or Memorial Day bbq.

Advertising professional by day and wine drinker by night, often overwhelmed by the sheer choices in wine stores, I have a tendency to not drink the same wine twice. My biggest tip to all Amateur winos, never swirl the glass in your hand, you just look pretentious. Swirl it on the table and you'll never worry again about that favorite sweater having a big red wine stain on it.
